ATA Carnets are accepted for transit.
ATA Carnets are not accepted for postal traffic.
ATA Carnets are accepted for unaccompanied goods.
Languages in which Carnets should be completed
English or Indonesian. The Customs may require a translation when the ATA Carnets are completed in any other language.
Customs offices
All Customs offices of Indonesia are entitled to handle ATA Carnets during office hours, from 7.30 am to 5.00 pm.
In addition, ATA Carnets will be accepted by the following Customs offices on a 24 hours service basis:
- Kantor Pelayanan Utama Bea dan Cukai Tipe A Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, Indonesia (Prime Customs and Excise Office Type A of Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, Indonesia)
- Kantor Pengawasan dan Pelayanan Bea dan Cukai, Tipe Madya Pabean Soekarno-Hatta, Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia (Medium Customs and Excise Office of Soekarno-Hatta, Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia)
