CPD/China-Taiwan carnet system is only operated in a few countries based on bilateral protocol on the ‘Organization of a system of international customs deposits with China-Taiwan for the temporary admission of goods’ which allows the temporary admission of:
- Commercial samples
- Professional equipment
- Goods for use at trade fairs, shows, exhibitions

Postal traffic is accepted only for bags/packages with gross weight per unit less than 30 kilograms.
