The customs authority in Qatar is, exceptionally, allowing the use of the ATA carnet for professional material during the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Please note that this authorisation is only valid during the FIFA World Cup 2022 (from 01/10/2022 to 31/12/2022). The re-export deadline will be determined by Qatar Customs upon importation, taking into account the time required for importation and re-exportation from Qatar.
To benefit from this exception, it is advised to complete box C (intended use) as follows :
– “Professional material”
or
– “Other” : “Professional Equipment/FIFA World cup 2022”
